Netflix SACKS 300 More Employees
Struggling streaming platform Netflix laid off another 300 employees Thursday - 4% of its workforce - after firing 150 last month amidst accusations that most were involved in diversity.
The company said in February it had lost 200,000 subscribers in 2022 already in its first drop in membership in a decade, and forecast another 2mn to jump ship in the upcoming quarter.
CEO Ted Sarandos announced Thursday several companies were in talks over potential advertising, with reports this week suggesting Google and NBCUniversal were discussing marketing partnerships.
