Today was a special day.
Meet Sofia,
Sofia is battling some neurological issues that does not give her but a 50% chance of survival (according to her doctor). She is a strong little girl and is battling some very serious pain issues.
Over the past couple of days, I have been working with the RDU airport authorities and they granted a water arch for her. I was able to fly Sofia back home from a final consultation before her surgery in 3 weeks. Sofia has many Doctors and neurologists working/planning and praying that this procedure will allow her to live a normal life, however, she knows that she faces a battle ahead.
I couldn’t be more proud of Sofia and her courageous and beautiful outlook on life.
