Walking alone?

2 Timothy 4:16-17
“At my first defense no one came to stand by me, but all deserted me. May it not be charged against them! But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, so that through me the message might be fully proclaimed and all the Gentiles might hear it. So I was rescued from the lion’s mouth.”

When everyone else abandons you and flees from you, there is one who will not. There is one who will walk you down to the cross. There is one who will strengthen you even in your hour of dying. There is one who will receive you into glory when you have died. The Lord stood by Paul, and the Lord will stand by us. Let us fearlessly speak truth in love!
