- Globally the Taliban victory will have a ripple effect. Terrorist organizations will feel invigorated to see the US lose a war in which it fought for 20 years. The Taliban will yet again start training terrorists and forces to send all around the world in Syria, Iraq, Africa, and so on. Newly rising Islamic insurgents in Africa might find an ally in the form of the radical nation of the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan.

The US allies that are still in training will have less trust towards the US government and their will to fight and protect global peace. This affects East Asia, Eastern Europe, Caucasus, and other middle eastern countries.
Terrorism and radical Islam will find a new source of income in the form of 40 million Afghan population.

The most direct changes will be regional as the vacuum left by the US is being filled by China, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, and Pakistan. The US might continue to withdraw from the region and finally abandon the middle east to its own devices. Open / Comment
